I am supposed to be doing homework now, because I have soooooo much due this coming week, but all I can seem to think about are American Girl Dolls! I am ordering Nellie later today and buying Kit hopefully from another member of the board. I have to wait until my fiancee gets out of work to go to the bank, and then I can order my dolls!!!!!!
Last night I was up until 4:30am drawing AG dolls with different outfits and hair and eye colors . . . .
I am awful! I can't function with this terrible addiction! But they are so cute!
I have decided that I am going to put Nellie in Addy's Kite-Flying outfit (also ordering that today) and I want to get Kit's hobo outfit to put her in eventually . . .
I also keep perusing the internet for strawberry-blong doll wigs with no bangs and long slightly-curly hair, so I can rewig a doll to look like me. This means that I can't sit at my computer to write a paper without getting distracted!!! AAHHHHH! I won't even mention the temptation of E-bay!!!

I draw AG's on my science notes... write wish lists in math...and when i clean my room: the first thing i do is change what my gir ls are wearing! then i have to rearange their rooms, and all my catalouges...then i notice a catalouge i havent read in a while......

I write lists, codes and prices on every handy piece of paper! I prioritize my doll wishlist, my outfit wishlist and my accessories wishlist at least three or four times weekly!!

If you're having trouble getting work done, then you have to start making deals with yourself. Like, "if I get all my homework done for tomorrow, then I'll let myself order Nellie" or, "if I study hard and get an A on this test," or, "if I finish with this paper." You get the idea. Don't let yourself place an order or go change your dolls' outfits or what have you until your work is done. That's what I do when I find myself being too distracted by AGs! It makes them seem more special if you turn them into a reward instead of a distraction.
I have an art project due on Wednesday and I haven't even started it yet [img]eek.gif[/img] . Plus, I am going to Newport News, Virginia this weekend to visit relatives, so I only really have today, part on Monday, and part of Tuesday to do it [img]eek.gif[/img] ! EEK! I was supposed to be taking notes from the computer the past week or so, but I am so addicted to this board, every time I get on the computer, I come straight here! AAAH! I am WAY too addicted! Art is so annoying this year. It used to be my favorite subject, but my teacher this year is awful, plus we have projects and stuff like that, too.
